“C.A.K.E. TALK” is a major highlight of the 16th China International Cartoon & Animation Festival Summit Forum series, and is also a featured brand we newly launched in 2017, for which we take the initialism of four words "Creative, Animation, Knowledge, Exchange" as "C.A.K.E". The 16th CICAF "C.A.K.E. TALK" will be held for 3 days (September 28--30), at The First World Hotel Hangzhou and White Horse Lake Jianguo Hotel. It contains sub-forms like “Master”, “Yong”, “Panel” and “Live”, with different perspective of discussion. It is also an exhibition of innovative ideas collisions among professionals with contents around animated films, series, games, cartoon, derivatives, academy, painting, design, publication, marketing and other new topics of pan-entertainment industry. Let’s see how to explore the ACG industry more under the post pandemic period.

We hope to build a cross-border communication platform for all the participants of pan-entertainment industries. Via annual regular activities, "C.A.K.E TALK” will bring together professionals willing to share experience, to break discipline barriers, to introduce achievements, to open up public vision, and to create a real atmosphere of communication.

In charge of the major construction planning, enrollment, teaching, and students' practice of CUC Animation Department, as well as giving lectures on creative courses of film, television, and animation. He once worked as the core crew member of the Animated Promotional Video Fuwa for Beijing Olympic Games Mascot, and Funiu for Beijing Paralympic Games Mascot, which won the “Outstanding TV Animated Series” Award, and “Best Animated Film” Award of China TV Golden Eagle Awards.
He tutored his students in more than 40 animated short films, obtaining many international awards, including awards from Annecy International Animation Film Festival, Tokyo International Animation Festival, Annie Awards, and Bucheon International Animation Festival.

Once worked at Shanghai Animation Film Studio, her independent works have been shortlisted and won multiple awards, including 2008 Berlin Film Festival- Asian Popular Section, 2009 Italy“New Shadow”Beijing Youth Film and Art Festival, 2014 UCLA “China Screen” Biennale, 2015 Cleveland State University “Traditional Deductive”Exhibition of Contemporary Chinese Artists, 2016 Xiamen International Animation Festival, 2017 China New Media International Short Film Festival “King Bonn”Award, 2018 Seoul International Cartoon & Animation Festival, and 2019 Austria ÖSTERREICH PANORAMA Tricky Women International Animation Festival, etc. Under her guidance, the works of her students have been nominated in the British International Animation Festival, the Malmo International Festival in Switzerland, and the VAFI International Youth Animation Festival in Croatia etc. Animated works: Lotus Lantern, Divergence,Companion,Peach Blossom Fish.
