"CHINA COSPLAY SUPER SHOW" holds the final in Hangzhou during the May Day holiday every year and it has been successfully held for 12 sessions. Being one of the most important events at China International Cartoon & Animation Festival, Cosplay Super Show is renowned as one of the most representative cosplay competitions nationwide due to its highest competition level, most extensive area and largest number of participants. And it is the only China's cosplay competition at the international level that has divisions overseas. Last year, over 800 societies and approximately 80,000 people participated.

It has been confirmed that the 13th China International Cartoon & Animation Festival (2017) "Cosplay Super Show" has 27 domestic divisions in Beijing, Fujian, Gansu, Qinghai, Heilongjiang, Jilin, Hebei, Henan, Hubei, Henan, Jiangsu, Shanxi, Shandong, Shaanxi, Tianjin, Yunnan, Chongqing, Guangxi, Hainan, Liaoning, Inner Mongolia, Anhui, Guizhou, Xinjiang, Ningxia, Shanghai and Hangzhou; and 9 overseas divisions in Holland, the US, Spain, Singapore, Hungary, Denmark, France, Switzerland and Italy.

As the only cosplay competition that possesses Chinese styles, China Cosplay Super Show consists of a variety of events and competition items, including large-scale cosplay team competitions, doubles, zhaiwu，juniors and graphic design.
